If you are in an abusive relationship, having a Safety Plan ready in advance can help you exit your home safely and quickly, if needed.

Even if you are not sure you are ready to leave, it is helpful to have a plan in place.

Is there a cost if I meet with a support worker?

No there is no cost in seeing a support worker.

I don’t want to give my name or details on the call is that OK?

When you ring our helpline, you only need to share information that you are comfortable with giving.

I experienced domestic abuse or sexual violence in the past and would like support around it now, can I still contact the project?

Yes, we support women at any point in their experience of domestic abuse. Whether you are still in the relationship, thinking of leaving, have just left or there has been long separation but the impacts of the
domestic abuse are still occurring.

We support anyone over the age of 14 who has experienced any form of sexual violence, regardless of when it occurred.

I don’t want to leave my partner but still want to talk about the domestic abuse I am experiencing, is that OK?

Yes, our service works in a non-directive, non-judgemental manner which means we will not force you into a decision and also not judge you for staying. Instead, we can provide a safe space to talk through everything that you want to focus on.
